I have to clarify 2 entries:

1) viRus|Marine - like you see, i banned a whole ClassC-subnet, which noghost never does.

It is not possible to say 100% sure whether marine is cheating or not. But fact is, there had been a couple of noghost-drops out of this subnet with the nick "n00by" (or "nooby" - can't recall at the very moment). After looking through years of logs, i found a couple of nick-entries, and every nick that wasn't a fakenick, was viRus|Marine, viRus|Abalone, viRus|Spite. The IP of the real marine always changes within this Subnet (same goes for n00by)

To add another piece of this puzzle: there is a demo around of Marine, where i am pretty sure that he used wallhack.


The possibility that someone out of his Subnet - containing 254 IPs - is playing quake is pretty low. The possibility, that the one doesn't use any nick besides fakenicks, is even lower. And the possibility that this player additionally cheats on noghost-servers while Marine is already suspected by demos is negligible small in my opinion.

2) DqP-Killabee - Killabee just contacted me regarding his nick being in this banfile, claiming that he is from romania, while the dropped ip is from dutch - since i already heard this before from another trustful player who got nothing to do with killabee, there is no reason to doubt that
